About me
I’m Akhil. I started Neural Tech Daily in 2026 to write the kind of buying advice I wish someone had given me when I was making my first big tech and AI purchases — clear, India-first, in plain English, and honest about what to skip.
I’m a first-time publisher, not a career journalist. I think that’s a feature, not a bug, for this kind of work: I read these articles the way you do, with fifteen tabs open and a budget in mind, and I write for that.
Outside this publication, I run a parallel project called alios. Neural Tech Daily takes about ten hours of my week. The small surface area is deliberate — I’d rather publish thirty careful articles a year than three hundred forgettable ones.
What I cover
I write across our pillars but lean into:
- Laptops for students, professionals, and creators in India.
- Mid-range smartphones where most Indian buyers actually shop.
- AI tools and AI news — productivity tools, AI hardware, India-specific launches like Krutrim and Sarvam, and head-to- head comparisons (ChatGPT vs Claude vs Gemini for Indian use cases).
- Productivity software for freelancers and small businesses.
- Online courses (Udemy, Coursera, Scaler, upGrad) where the affiliate-driven internet gives terrible advice and a small honest publication can do better.
How I work with AI
The publication is AI-assisted, not AI-generated. AI agents help me research, outline, draft, and edit. I review and stand behind every published piece, and the editorial process — research → outline → draft → edit → SEO pass — is built so that what you read has been judged by a human at every step. The detail is on our Editorial Policy page.
Conflict of interest
I hold no equity, advisory roles, or paid relationships with any brand, retailer, or AI-tool maker reviewed on this site as of 25 April 2026. This page will be updated if that ever changes.
